Christian started his professional journey studying Computer Science at University of Passau. After graduation he focused on research in the area of Machine Learning as full-time research assistant and acquired his doctorate at the same time. In 2007 he switched to the Automotive Industry by joining Elektrobit, where he worked as a Senior Software Engineer and later as Project and Team Manager mainly in the domains Basic Software (Autosar) and Driver Assistance Systems. Since 2016 he has been working at VAIVA – initially as Head of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems/ Software Development and since 2021 as CTO, where he drives VAIVA forward with his innovative vision and technical know-how.
