Christof Horn is heading the Automotive practice of Industry X in Europe. Accenture Industry X is joining the Automotive capabilities of umlaut, ESR Labs, Zielpuls, SALT, Eclipse Automotion and other industry specialists to one 360° portfolio, from strategy design, process implementation to product development and operation. Key focus of Christof Horn is the make the SW defined Vehicle reality, supporting OEMs and 1st tiers to transform their processes, organizations and mindsets to get ready for SW and Data driven business.

After his diplomas in physics and mathematics at Stuttgart and Bologna, Horn joined the firm (still under the former name of P3) in 2001 at a size of less 30 people and got first experiences at OEMs and suppliers. With the rise of electronics and software in the vehicle, Horn focused on the transformation of Automotive processes and organizations towards mechatronics and E/E systems.

He ramped up a significant automotive practice and founded spin-offs on E/E validation (umlaut systems) and semantic data layers (umlaut hotsprings). umlaut’s current capabilities are a result of 20+ years of constant curiosity, entrepreneurship and growth.

Besides Automotive, Horn is active as key note speaker and author on transformational processes. In his personal podcast #digdeep he is putting a spotlight on hot topics of digital transformation in business, research and society.
