Geert joined Capgemini in 2008 and is currently leading the global cybersecurity practice and is also the CISO for the Cloud Infra Global Business line. Geert started his career at the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, where he initially worked as an auditor and later took responsibility for the entire IT department. Geert also served as CIO of the Dutch Road and Water Works. He was born and raised in the Netherlands and studied computer science, business informatics and organization at university and is qualified as a chartered accountant and IT auditor.
