Dr.-Ing. Markus Oertel is globally heading Business Development and Sales for Vector’s Embedded Software products. Since 2015, he has worked for Vector in various positions including heading the product management for Adaptive AUTOSAR, being responsible for the introduction of the new product. Previously, he worked for OFFIS as a consultant and researcher for functional safety of automotive systems. During that time he also obtained his PhD in Engineering for his work on modular automotive safety cases.
