Dr. Olga Khryapchenkova serves as a Product Manager for NIO’s in-vehicle AI system – the voice assistant NOMI. In her role, she is responsible for creating a user-friendly voice interface that opens the door to the variety of NIO’s features, combining car HMI with the latest conversational technologies.

She holds degrees from the Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod and the University of Heidelberg. As a trained linguist and simultaneous interpreter, she completed a PhD in Social Philosophy while teaching at her alma mater and researching as a visiting scholar at the University of Graz and the University of Zurich. Her work has gradually moved towards natural language processing and other conversational AI topics, bringing her to both development and product roles.
